The results of our 2024/25 Efficacy Study report are now in. We collaborated with ImpactEd Evaluation to assess the impact Sumdog has on pupil attainment and attitudes towards maths on Year 5 pupils across 14 schools in England.
On Wednesday 17th September at 12pm we'll review the results and discuss why choosing resources with proven imnpact and evidence is important now more than ever.

Our March 2025 interim report is here! This report is part of our wider 2024-25 evaluation. The interim report focuses on Sumdog’s implementation and early findings on its impact on a small number of schools participating in the study.

What does the study involve?
We're working with classes of Year 5 pupils who've not used Sumdog before so we can independently assess the efficacy of our Sumdog platform on pupil attainment. Each school participating receives:
- A free school-wide Sumdog subscription for 2 years
- Training on how to regularly use Sumdog with their class and a dedicated account manager
- Tracking of pupil attainment in term 1 and 3
- A 10-minute survey for pupils to complete on their attitudes towards maths at the start and end of the academic year
