Changes to your Sumdog account

Since launching our free account back in 2010, we have been proud to witness the impact that Sumdog has had on millions of children worldwide.

We’ve seen millions of children engage with their maths practice on Sumdog, both in-school and at home, reaching the most disengaged learners through our fun and exciting games, motivating rewards and online contests. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for being a valued user of our platform. Without your support, Sumdog would not have had the same level of impact that we’ve witnessed over the past 12 years.

At a time where we know schools are struggling with increasing costs, we’re also facing similar challenges as a company. Sadly, this means we’ve been forced to make some tough decisions about how Sumdog can continue.

This hasn’t been an easy decision for us to make, but we hope you understand.

Why are Sumdog now charging for a service that was previously free of charge?

To ensure Sumdog can continue to support as many schools as possible both now and in the future, we have made the hard decision to remove our free service, starting in April 2023. Schools wishing to carry on using Sumdog can now subscribe to our Sumdog Premium service.

We’ve been proud to offer our free Sumdog service for over 12 years to schools worldwide. We want to thank you for being valued Sumdog users who have got us to where we are today and we hope you understand why we’ve had to make this decision.

What does Sumdog Premium include?

Sumdog Premium includes:

  • 39 adaptive learning games for your pupils to practise their maths skills in-class or at home

  • A diagnostic tool and reports to help you identify areas of strength and weakness

  • Fluency Booster adaptivity to help revise and master key number kills.
