Sumdog's 2025/26 Scotland Efficacy Study
About the study
Our Scotland Efficacy Study is currently live and running until May 2026.
We are working with ImpactEd Evaluation to gather attainment and pupil survey data from P6 pupils at 12 Scotland primary schools. We are also conducting focus groups and teacher interviews to provide both qualitative and quantitative insight into the Sumdog Maths platform.

“The low attainers in my class love it… their confidence is much more confident than when they're working through workbooks.”
41% of children were deemed to be active pupils… after a year of doing the competition, that jumped up to 75%
“It helps me plan better… I know which group needs the most support… it just takes no time.”
