March Mathness

In the spirit of March Madness, Sumdog is diving into the excitement and launching our own basketball-themed challenge for the entire month. Get ready to join the madness and keep your children engaged in their math skills with March Mathness.

Here's how it works:

Download the grid and give it to the children in your class
Set them a target - how many tasks do they need to complete?
Once students hit the target, print out their certificate and reward them with coins

Help your students check off some tasks on the grid

On the grid we have put a number of tasks your students can do independently. However, there are a few tasks that you can create or set. Some examples are below.

Set targeted work

You can set game-based practice work on a math skill they need extra practice on or you could create a fun quiz based on the math concepts that you have covered this semester.

Reward with coins

Reward students who have started or completed tasks with 50, 100 or 200 coins and a personalized message when they hit their target.

Join the March Mathness contest

During Sumdog's March Mathness contest, students can win participation prizes and certificates of achievement. The winning class will receive the exclusive March Mathness trophy!
